The Center seeks to generate, process and analyze information regarding the sustainable management of natural resources; emphasizing the situation in our country, but without loosing sight of the global dimension involving many of the topics covered in this section. The goal is to design public and economic policy instruments and technology that allows to make sustainable management of natural resources. Also to acknowledge the internalisation of external costs, the correct estimate of the economic value of resources and their use, consistency between the laws and economic incentives that first generated and the encouragement of using renewable energy. To achieve this, experts that work in the Insstitution will support using several means, such as:
a) Economic policy instruments
b ) Competitiveness
c ) Economic Assessment
d ) Environmental Economics and Natural Resources
